Our Third Annual Poker Run

On March 23rd, 2003 Competition Motorcycles held it's 3rd Annual Peckerhead
Poker Run at our 3414 Swensen location in Pearland Texas.
The event was a tremendous success with well over 500 in attendance, benefiting "You" Our Loyal and well-appreciated Customers. As a matter of fact we had such a great turn out, that we ran out of Beer! "Damn I hate it when that happens"! Sorry about that and we'll do better next year! We do however have a boatload of soft drinks we have been pawning off. We are what you call a full service shop here that would prefer having left over Beer than soft drinks any day! We hope that everyone enjoyed the great Bar-B-Q supplied by our very good & loyal friend Leon Huggins and his Smoke-N-Poke Cooking Team from Grayson Armature Works. We want to give a very special Thanks to James Haines and Perry Ousley for their outstanding efforts before, during and after the event. There is also a big round of applause going out to my family and friends (Jessie D's) for taking the time every year to help out with the event. They even gave up watching the NASCAR race just for us! Love you guys!! A special thanks goes out to Tammy, Billy, Chuck, the Christian Motorcycle Association and the Competition Gang. We would also want to send out our appreciation to the poker run stops The Silver Fox, Mike Milburn's, Hawg Stop, The Riverside Inn and Marina, Softails, The Cowboy Ranch and Scooters. Hope everyone enjoyed the route. Now lets get down to the main reason you are in this section and let's face it, it is for the pictures right?
The photography this year and every year in the past have been
professionally shot by our annual photographer Vince Valentino. Vince, these
are the best ever and your contributions are greatly appreciated. Really
great pics man, you are the best! Thanks again!

The $2400 1st place prize was won by Debra Scott and as you will see in the
photo's she was not one bit excited about it ---- Yeah right! Way to go Girl,
and we are so very proud for you!
The $1400 second place prize was won by Thomas Webb, Not bad for a days ride
big boy! Where and when is the party? We are all waiting!

The $800.00 worst hand was not given out because out of 2 possible winners
that could and would have won, were not present, so they donated their
winnings to the Shriner's Burn Hospital in Galveston, Texas.
As an ending statement the Competition Group wants to send out a very
special Thanks to all of "You," our customers and friends that make us who
and what we are, and for another great Annual Pecker-Head Poker Run. Watch
